My family has had numerous issues with important medications not being filled. Usually issues due to stock but today it was issues with insurance that they never bothered to tell me about when I called numerous times only to be told were busy ehat do you want us to do. A prescription that was sent in on Monday apparently needed to be changed because my insurance wont except it due to the wording. I totally understood that. But today is wensday. Paul who seems to be new at Walmart Pittston pharmacy actually is the first person who seems like they really want to help you ….. he’s very attentive and polite. I’ had to call there today and I was very happy to know it was him receiving my call today.
Terrible patient service! Holding medications because they pick and choose when to enforce a so called Walmart policy that if the doctor is more than 20 miles, they will not fill lifesaving medications. I am not sure why they think they can micromanage a patient’s right to the doctors they choose but last month they didn’t abide by their own company policy or the month before that. Hmmm, I think Walmart should be sued for this withholding vital medicines.
I had to call twice to get my medication they said they had to send it back to the dr.for approval ,it's been 2 weeks haven't heard back from them yet
20 minutes to hand in a perscription.they really need more workers..i have to find another.pharmacy.extremly slow.i thought rite aid was slow.
