My preferred pharmacy in Red Oak! Having had prescriptions filled at CVS, and Walgreens (all within about half a mile of each other on Ovilla), I’ve by far had the best experience with this location. Their prices on generic prescriptions ($4 with my insurance!!) absolutely can’t be beat. An antibiotic for my child was accidentally sent to one of the competitors by their doctor, and when I went to pick up, was going to be well over $100. Mel was very patient with me, I really appreciate her going the extra mile for me in getting my depression medication
Staff is very friendly and line moves at a fast pace. The pharmacist Mistie, was very helpful to me and took her time to explain any questions I had due to a severe allergic reaction. She was able to recommend over the counter medication along with giving me advice and information. I had went to Walgreens prior and the pharmacist over there was not caring at all and acted like I was bothering her so, I won’t be returning there. Prescriptions take too long and this last incident is last straw for me. I called to see if my father's Rx was ready and told them i was on my way. When i arrived 10 minutes later, they were closing the door for lunch and told me i would have to wait 1/2 hour. I explained that my father needs to start his pain med within two hours of his surgery and that time has nearly expired. Since the staff wouldn't help, i asked to speak to the manager.
