Yesterday, I spoke with another pharmacist at this location regarding my prescription. I was told that the pharmacy would need my prescribing physician to call and verify the date of my last in-person visit. I was also told that I could provide medical records documenting that visit. First time filling my scripts at this pharmacy as we had moved. I have a script for pain meds which I have taken for 20 yrs for fibromyalgia amd the pharmacist would not fill the script my doctor had just written me. Even after talking to several people from my doctors office approving it. You could see the judgememt all over her face. Asking why I was taking so many etc. Thats not her business. State regulations strictly ban automatic refills for Medicaid patients, even though people with private insurance get them with no issues.
