Wal-Mart's Expensive Version The Neighborhood Wal-Mart store has expensive gas that one could go down the street and get it .05 to .10 cheeper a gallon of gas. The store plays tricks on you as the buyer to make you spend more money. For example, Picante Salsa the thick and chunky mild will be more expensive then the hot and be the same exact size only difference is the spicyness. not positive I do not shop Wal mart much anymore since they opened the supercenter. It is way to big and not very well organized at all. It is hard to fine what you are looking for. There prices in the food area i think are high. You can get better prices at Meijers.
Ghetto Wal-Mart Indeed! @ Elizabeth L: You don't sound racist, you're speaking the truth. I'm a young female and try to not go to that Wal-Mart at night. Customer service is non-existent, the floors/shelves are dirty, nothing is never in order, that place is a mess. The only reason why I go to that Wal-Mart is because it is within walking distance and the USF shuttle runs along that way. I too call this walmart the "Ghetto Wal-Mart"! (By the way...I am African American)
Good for a short trip I go to this Walmart because it is close. I only go to this one though for short trips if I just need 1 thing. The store is always a dirty and shelves are in chaos. I went to there "food" section once, because it isn't a super Walmart they didn't have a lot in the first place. When I got to it though well over half the food was just not there and I was staring at an empty shelf. GHETTO WALMART One piece of advice. Never go here 1. after dark or 2. alone. Whenever I go here no matter what time of day I always have people walking up to me to ask me what kind of perfume I wear or what kind of music I listen to. I dont mean to be racist or anything but whenever someone is coming up to you at night, in a parking lot, and you dont know them, you tend to get a little freaked out and reach for the pepper spray. Pharmacy Pharmacy: The pharmicist was very helpful in locating a difficult prescirption, she had to call several before she located my scrip they are very effecient and friendly. The store was clean and organized and I enjoy shopping here because its handy. They have great customer service. PROS: Fast CONS:
Best Eye Doctor!! I'd highly recommend Dr. Wollbrinck. He was very kind and knowledgeable. He was really easy going, not rushed, and took the time to explain everything to me in a very thorough manner. This was definitely the best eye exam experience I've ever had and my new contacts are amazing!
shop at your own risk! The store manager, Emilio Gonzalez, refused to help us with a simple task that needed to be done in Customer Service because it's Black Friday. They were holding merchandise that was already paid for and just needed to walk over & get it. The staff at the fitting rooms when w 8 call in as well as when I overhear them on the phone with other customers.
A Pharmacy Review (and a little bit more) Unlike the previous review, this one is actually about the Walmart Pharmacy. The people working at the Pharmacy are great. They are well trained and always excede my expectations. I have been a past customer of the Marketplace pharmacy, and Walgreens, but Walmart is the best overall.
