This Expert top soil should have a " Best By Used Date" stamped on the bag. For spending $25.00 + this topsoil is well below par standards. The soil was mostly sand based and very dry. I believe this topsoil was left over from last year and placed for sale this year. I properly prepared the existing soil before adding this topsoil. I seeded it with top quality grass seed and lightly raked the seed in. I then used a roller to pack the soil and seed for growth.
