On 6/4/26, I had 2 tires replaced on my daughters 2017 Corolla. When I opened the driver's door, I noticed oil/grease/dirt stains on the driver's seat and door. When I went in to complain, the lights in the Auto Care area were out since I was the last appointment of the day (6pm). A guy that worked in the garage came out and I asked him about the stains. Took my truck in for service full synthetic oil and rotate and balance tires. Part of the check list is to check the fluid level in the rear diff. I was going on a long road trip I get to Florida from Wisconsin and my truck is making a whining noise.i take it to a respected mechanic shop down here. And turns out my rear diff was bone dry but 2 days b4. It was checked ? Now there's chunks of metal in the rear diff and im sitting in florida.facing thousands of dollars in repair whole new axle.
