I was sure my car required a TPM to be replaced. But, after diagnostics confirmed all was well, the tech offered to pull the tire in question off to examine the valve for leakage. It turned out there was a plug in the tire, and air was escaping. I was in need of a new tire because of the location of the plug. I felt relieved to know that the problem was solved.
