I had an oil change done and tech forgot to tighten screws on air cleaner and air duct to throttle body. I got stranded and had to fix their mistakes. I brought it to the managers attention and I would at least think he would have offered my money back for the service which was not completed right and I even gave them back the screwdriver left in the engine compartment.i called the corporate office and they couldn't help me either. I am extremely upset with the way my son was treated at Walmart Auto Service. He took his truck there for a simple oil change, nothing more. Instead of doing their job, the staff refused to touch his vehicle unless he bought a brand-new battery. They gave no written diagnostic, no explanation of why an oil change could not be done, and no real proof of any problem. This is nothing but pressure tactics to force unnecessary purchases. Unacceptable service — refused oil change unless I bought a new battery I brought my truck to the Walmart Auto Service for a simple oil change. Staff refused to accept my vehicle, saying it had a “battery issue,” and insisted I purchase a new battery before they would perform the oil change.
