I brought my car in to have two tires installed that I ordered from Walmart. My appointment time was set for 8:00am. I arrived at 7:42am (nervous about being prompt for my appointment since there's a disclaimer noting that you'll lose your appointment slot if you're over 15 minutes late). Got my oil done there two months ago and it looks like they didn't do the work... my oil went almost completely dry and there were no obvious causes like leaks. Thankfully I caught it and my engine did not seize up. Not only have they typically treated me horribly the work was sometimes good and sometimes horrible. Consumer beware!!! This was the most expensive oil change I ever had in my life. Took my vehicle into them for a simple oil change. Anybody that completed some type of automotive school should be able to do a "oil change". The next few days on the startup of my vehicle I have white smoke coming from the exhaust. It only last after the vehicle started up. Started looking for other things that might cost that. Shortly after that the vehicle started driving extremely rough. The mechanic does not have sufficient qualifications. I only wanted to replace the battery, but they told me that the front plastic parts had to be removed and that it would take a long time. I went to a different auto shop nearby, and they simply removed the bolts, took out the old battery, and installed a new one — no need to remove any plastic parts. Your mechanic clearly lacks experience in this field.
