I previously went there for an oil change where this weasel kid sold me on the process of removing oil from the top of the engine block...which sounded absurd. I know this to be a fact because the last time I went there to get my oil changed The Manager then confirmed that customer who was before me claimed the same procedure happened to him. I came to this Walmart Auto Center for a tire replacement and clearly explained what I needed: the two new tires should go on the front, the old good front tires should be moved to the back, and the bad rear tires should be thrown away. Instead, they misunderstood the rotation completely. It looks like they moved the worn-out rear tires to the front and put the new tires on the back — the opposite of what I asked for. Contrary to other reviews my experience has been fine with Walmart auto. Oil change was on sale $60 something maybe $74 out the door full synthetic. The Lexus uses more like a 6 cylinder truck type amount of oil. It was a long time like 2 hours but otherwise fine. You better go there in person - one thing to note is that they do not regard phonecalls as a priority it seems. No issues though so I suppose oh well. 2nd stop: decent customer service. Purchased the “discount” tire option which was the online buy and on-site insta... read more
Walmart is usually hit and miss and today it was a miss. This location is the biggest Walmart in the valley and the third largest Walmart in the united states. The christown community has changed over the years and has become very diverse and unfortunately brought in bad elements and the store has suffered because of it. Which is the main reason why they have poor retention when it comes to employees and the auto care center is no exception.
