I ordered 4 tires here and shipped them for installation. Almost immediately the shipment was “delayed” and my installation appointment was cancelled. Throughout the week I tracked shipment to see when I could get them installed. Their app never updated so I had to call in. I had to talk to their operator 5 times just to finally talk to someone at the auto care center. This is the first negative review I’ve ever posted but the service at this Walmart is beyond unacceptable. I always go to Pep Boys but decided to give Walmart a chance much to my regret. Ordered a tire under warranty and when I came to my assigned appointment I was told that the order was cancelled and I wasn’t even notified. So we set another appointment for another day. By far the most inefficient Walmart auto center ever. I've sat here for 2 hours already watching 2 of 6 workers in the bay productive albeit very slow. The other 4 walk and talk for 20 minutes, then work for 5. As a service delivery manager I'm embarrassed for them. There is more productivity out of a union run shop than here. I challenge any Walmart manager to observe this team for 2-3 hours and be happy with the performance. Just shameful. Ive gotten an oil change here before. We moved though my husband still works in leander so I made arrangements with family to take my car to get an oil change while he was at work since we dont know anything about the Walmart where we are at. We specifically warned family not to go here because this auto center has incorrectly put my spash guard on my car. Took my car here to have my battery replaced while still under warranty. The guy checked my battery and said it was fine, possibly the starter or alternator. Took it to auto zone where I was told the battery is completely dead, the battery died while at auto zone. Took my car to Walmart auto on Whitestone the battery died again but this location replaced it with no issue.
