Had a appointment at 4:30pm didn’t leave Walmart until 8:15
It took 2 hours to complete the oil change, only to find out later that night on the Interstate that they overtightened the oil filter cap and cracked it. The engine lost all it's oil in about 30 miles of driving. Parts alone to repair the damage are almost $400. Make that almost $800 for the parts; total repair cost $1,677.67 !!!!! The oil change price is attractive but ended up costing me a whole lot more.
I Had a 8:30 appointment and service did not begin till 9:30. Why bother making an appointment when they ignore it.
Buyer beware! If you’re getting tires installed at Walmart, SAVE YOUR PAPERWORK. The service techs intentionally don’t link your orders to the VIN of your vehicle, so if you need warranty work, they’ll be able to deny you, bc they can’t find your order in their system. Watch your back with these guys.
