We picked up a Budget Truck here last month. The guy was super nice. It's a step back in time to find a full service station around anymore. Don't hold Budget's issues against Wally King's Services. They don't control the condition of the trucks or the issues with Budget rentals. We actually ended up here because Budget didn't have our reserved van for us at the location we originally reserved at and had to drive 3 hours round trip from where we were to pick up a replacement. Great rates on truck rentals, with 30% savings versus other rentals.
Rented a Budget moving truck which fell apart on my long distance move from Saginaw, Mi to Durham, NC. A 12 hour drive took 15 hours due to the headlight falling out of the socket, no horn and bad tires noticed after the headlight came out of the socket. I was disappointed that they would even rent thus truck for any move, even after the so called overview of the truck.
