We were anticipating a special birthday dinner as we entered the full dinning room at 7:30 pm. It is a wonderful setting. But by 9pm the room was empty and we were still waiting for our dinner. The food was ok, not sure what happened in the kitchen but the entries came out over a five minute spread not their best offerings. The presentation was fine. The food was overcooked. Everything is fabulous at the Walloon Lake Inn! A+
We had a group of 14 that ate there on July 16 and not a single person left disappointed. The food and service was amazing! The old fashions were perfect! The short ribs literally melted in your mouth. Everyone who had the white fish, raved and one of our guests said he never had gnocchi so good. Thanks for a wonderful evening. We will be back next year for our annual meeting and no doubt we will be returning to Walloon Lake Inn for dinner! What a treat!
The food is average at best. My wife ordered med rare fillet. Came to the table with just a touch of pink in center only. Server said this crazy out door light makes it look way more done. Really! We were confused. We spent 380.00 on dinner, drinks, and atmosphere. Was disappointed with 2 out of 3. .
