Breakfast Buffet I go to the breakfast every weekend with my husband grand kids. They have fresh fruit, eggs, any kind of meat, bagels, muffins, pork chops, different kind of potatoes, pancakes, waffles. You name it, they have it. Price is decent.
Our Shining star I think this breakfat buffet is the best in town. Where would we be without our shining star on center road. As I kid we lived out of state ( dad was military) and when we would come home to visit, I knew we were almost to grandmas when I saw the famous star. The food is great here.
Business or Pleasure Wallis is great for any need!! You can bring your family in for lunch or dinner - or my favorite the breakfast buffet - or you can rent out the upstairs for a business meeting or even a family get together. The food is excellent and the staff is mostly wonderful. They do get busy and sometimes seemed under staffed, which keeps you waiting sometimes. The buffet is the best way to go as your drinks and food are all there, but it is not always offered.
Another Flint landmark, great service.... The service is fabulous, very friendly. Nice cozy little bar, meeting and banquet rooms, family friendly. Reasonable prices, open late, decent atmosphere. Mediocre food though, IMHO! Lots of people enjoy Wallis though, it's classic American diner fare.
