I am overwhelmed with the lack of professionalism and total disregard for my living environment. Once I moved in, cleaned and unpacked my belongings, I discovered bedbugs! I immediately reported the findings to the leasing office. They disregarded my claims over the phone several times. Once I sent documentation via email to their office, they sent out their own pest control team to spray within the unit. They came out three times to spray. Each time was unsuccessful. I lived in this complex for only 1 year and was ready to move within 7 months. ******* is very unprofessional at her job and does not care about the residents, she gave me a hard time every-time I spoke to her. I get it if she does not like her job, but that has nothing to do with the company she works for. There's been multiple times I complained about my neighbor harassing me and my son, but since that tenant lived there for 30+ years they didn't care to hear me out. The worst place I have ever lived! Don't live here unless it's this or under a bridge! They do have decent apartments for the price, but the management company is terrible to work with and they are shady and deceptive. They don't tell you when you sign the lease that smoking is permitted in all units unless explitly stated otherwise. It just doesn't mention it in the lease. The ************* ever to live with residential complex. During covid the company stated in the North Location there will not be any fees apply for rent and you could pay half the rent at the beginning till the end. I made sure to pay my prior next month rent at the end of the each prior month. The company office also try to evict me due to the property manger not completing the cmha voucher and waited last minute to process and fill out the application. Wallace and Ackley horrible management company. My apartment was never cleaned when I moved in. When I emailed them to let them know they wanted to send a crew after I had already HAD to clean it myself in order to move in. Dryer vent full of lint, food on blinds, walls and floor. Oven left with oven cleaner in it..cob webs everywhere it was never cleaned. Furnace filter and light bulbs never replaced prior to moving in. Bathroom sink literally tilted off the wall. I moved in January! When you apply and you get approved they only give you two weeks to move! however within those two weeks they didn’t fix any issues within the apartment. It’s almost like nobody had even been there at all, when I moved in I noticed the apartment was not cleaned but I was charged for maid service. I own a cleaning company the apartment wasn’t touched! My fiancé and I were told we could not even turn our application in. We were moving to Columbus from Cincinnati to be closer to family, I had got a new job and received my offer letter. I told her I could provide it. She turns and tell me that I had to start work in Columbus before we could apply. Like what! You want someone to be homeless or live in a hotel until I start work. We moved into a Wallace F. Ackley apartment on Fairway Court and it was trouble from the beginning. To start, we complained about a strong gas smell in the apartment. The building owner dismissed it as fumes from the paint. We called Columbia Gas who found several LARGE leaks in the gas lines in the basement. This was quickly fixed by Columbia Gas.
