I had a tree with a large branch that was about to fall on my house. It was cracking the trunk and had to go. I got SEVERAL quotes. Guffeys was around the middle price of the quotes I received. I asked for a certificate of insurance, he had his insurance agent, who was local, reach out with one. I asked for the previous years certificate to check effective dates, and there was no lapse in coverage. That indicated to me he was legit. That's something I can tell you after my search.
