We purchased our Subaru Forester at Walker's so I thought they would have our back when we needed a diagnostic inspection on the CVT. I already knew the CVT needed replacing because I took it to a non-Subaru 3rd party garage first for diagnosis and they confirmed full CVT failure. Subaru Corporate then informed me I needed an authorized Subaru dealer to confirm the CVT failure before beginning a warranty claim so we took it to Walker's. Horrible people. Brought our car in to fix due to tire lights going off and they apparently “fixed” it and changed the oil for over 1k. Drove it for a day and the lights came back. Took it back and they said there’s metal in the oil. (How is the related to break lights being off?) They then quote 2k to take our engine apart with no estimate on how much it will cost to fix it. I brought my 2022 Crosstrek (only 27k miles!) in for a Check Engine Light to the Service Department. What followed was a masterclass in deception. Service Advisor Madison tried to pressure me into a $2,000+ "engine teardown," claiming my warranty was void due to "sludge"—a blatant lie that was directly contradicted by their own technician’s video, which showed the oil was perfectly fine.
