Requested valve clearance check via email as part of 500 hour service for Kohler KDW702 as per manual, check not performed. Engine manual provided prior. Reason given was gasket for rocker cover required, however no attempt at sourcing the gasket was made and I was not informed it would not be completed. Being a required part of the service I now need to find another mechanic that can do it at an additional cost.
