Best meal I have had outside of a Michelin starred restaurant. Great food. Beautiful location. Excellent service.
Lovely setting for a farm-to-table meal with friends. The 5-course menu was intriguing. We only wished for better delivery of the ideas. Our soups and entrees were luke warm at best. And with any extras we purchased, we had to pay as a group as we were told because we were a party of 6. Slightly disappointed for a pricey meal in Iowa.
Great food and scenery
Walker Homestead is such a beautiful wedding venue! Beyond the sprawling Iowa countryside views, the staff and owners are so kind and hospitable. Their chef is top-notch (I always know I'm going to eat good there!) and, as a photographer, I adore the high white walls, interesting light fixtures and attention to detail.
