Walkon's is not as popular as it used to be, but it still serves enjoyable meals. As a Purdue student and frequent visitor, I noticed several major changes. In 2025, the restaurant updated the menu with new dishes, including the lemon butter chicken (one of my personal favorites), while some dishes were gone from the menu, like the Mexcian-style cajundillas. We used Walk On for our team meals. Meals were ALWAYS done on time, fresh, and efficient. Meals were marked for each player and the selection was huge. We appreciate the ease of meals for Harrison girls basketball season. We look forward to working with you again.

I will reiterate not to go with any time constraints. Very understaffed, especially for a Saturday game day. After waiting at host stand for 15 minutes without even being acknowledged, we walked away and had lunch in food court. Food is good and staff pleasant if you can get seated.

If you’re on a schedule I do not recommend going here. Our server was nice but rarely around. We waited for our food over 30 minutes after ordering and ended up having to leave without eating it because we had an event to get to. As someone who works in the industry it just felt poorly managed. The restaurant was busy but only about 75% of tables occupied. All the tables near me had empty glasses and/or dirty plates.
