Drs are great but this clinics new way of booking is a nightmare. Its almost impossible to get in, and even more impossible to cancel an appointment. They say you have to cancel within 12 hours or you get a $93 charge but you cant cancel online within 24 hours till the appointment, and goodluck trying to get through on the phone. Even though its 23 hours till my appointment i cant cancel and no one will answer
There is a doctor that is at this clinic in Courtenay who works on Monday and Wednesday. Partially due to her submitting not enough info about an 11 month issue that was originally misdiagnosed at this clinic by Dr. Lombard, both an ultrasound AND a CT scan were DENIED to me at the North Island Hospital this past 4 weeks. I have explained part of my family history to two other doctors at this Courtenay clinic as it's important that anything vascular related gets looked at. Walk-in clinic that doesn't take walk-ins.. Got there at 630am 90 minutes early to ensure I get a see a doc. Only to be turned away due to not having an appointment. In which must be made online. Tried day before, was not able to access site. Health care on the island is horrible.
