Walgreens Pharmacy at Yale Physician Building

I feel like every time I come to Walgreens I’m waiting super long, which isn’t like a huge deal. This one is particularly different was a fresh of air to see how efficient they were with my needs and super friendly. Was actually staffed too, which I can understand why it might take longer than usual. It is what it is. People need to slow down and relax.

I have been using this location for a few years now and made the grave mistake of changing plans one year that locked me out of Walgreens. I chose to pay more that allowed me to select Walgreens so I could go back. This is not your typical retail location, it’s a specialty pharmacy. Those are common if you look, what’s not is their main pharmacist Nadia & her team. My physicians at Yale appreciate her dedication and it’s comforting knowing she get’s difficult RX’s in w/in a day or two; handles any insurance hiccup swiftly & ... read more

Any bad reviews for this Walgreens are from years ago. They ship a specialty medication to me every two weeks, and before shipping call me the day before to make sure I'll be home to sign for it. I work a crazy schedule, and they make sure they call me when I'm not sleeping. They ask me if I'm having side effects and advise me what to do if I am, along with asking if they want me to request a medication for nausea from my doctor.
