I usually get a call about refilling my prescription and having it sent out automatically, but this month I did not. So I called and requested a refill myself. The automated machine said it would be ready that monday. I went in and a new person that doesnt normally work at the pharmacy was helping me. They were having issues with the computer and my prescription so they went to talk to the pharmacist. They went back to the fridge and confirmed they had my prescription in stock and that they could have it ready in 20 minutes.... read more
I'm a walking advertisement.
I have NEVER received as poor a reception and sensitivity to my needs as a patient from any single medical facility, doctors' office, or pharmacy in my almost 50 years of life. One would think pharmacies, particularly those with the kind of brand-recognition this one enjoys whilst being located in the BEST hospital in Illinois, some 9 years running, would be duty- or honor-bound to behave in the same ethical way the doctors at Northwestern hospitals do. Don’t waste your time. Not very helpful. “Forget” to order meds even if you speak with someone. Told someone will call back and they never do.
Discontinued their migraine program which was a big help to patients. They did this without informing patients prior, springing fees and making us all scramble to find new pharmacies that have to deal with oblique paperwork for our medication. One text, phone call or email could have sufficed. Very poor communication
