I'm visiting the area. I needed a refill of my meds. I read the reviews and thought I would have a hard time. I was so grateful that I didn't. Bc I'm a long time Walgreens customer and have an open account/profile when my Dr in Wilmington called it in they filled it. I was send me a notification they were working on it. I looked at my account and it was ready and waiting.

The wait times are routinely incredibly long, and the process for refilling certain prescriptions is unnecessarily difficult. I have a prescription for a Schedule II medication, which my doctor calls in three months at a time. However, due to regulations, I can only fill one month at a time. Because it’s a controlled substance, I cannot use the automated phone system or online refill options—I must speak directly with someone in the pharmacy.
