When I turned in a prescription over two weeks ago for Restasis eye drops for symptomatic Sjögren’s Disease (autoimmune dry eye syndrome) because previous med Xiidra stings my eyes, blurs my vision and gives a bitter taste, I received a phone voice mail that it was ready a week later. I went to pick up the Restasis and the pharmacist handed me another supply of Xiidra because “my insurance wouldn’t approve the Restasis.” I became indignant and refused the Xiidra.
