Last night I was disrespected and humiliated by the guy behind the pharmacy counter. I am 65 year old male who has been teaching for 30 years and been in sales for another 10 years. I believe they were having a bad busy day. I came in to order a prescription refill and was told it would be an hour before they could do it. I told them that was fine. This Walgreens gave us the run around on a prescription we got for our dog. We paid $60.00 dollars for it then the pharmacist in the drive though said if we went to GoodRx its typically cheaper. We looked a day after we got the prescription and saw it about $20.00 less. We tried to get this done a few times and ran into them being closed and computer issues yesterday (9/29) so it couldn't be processed. So not once, not twice, but multiple times they have contacted me about refilling a prescription (a good thing) and then when I go to pick it up, they don't have it and don't know when they can get it. I ask, "can't a human call me and let me know that you don't have this before I drive to the store only to be told that you don't have it and won't for months?" This Walgreens REFUSED to order a specific brand of prescription that we need because the we have had issues with the brand they typically carry. Every other Walgreens we have ever been to has accommodated our brand request, but there was no flexibility. Walgreens just lost a long time customer.
