Every visit to Walgreens Pharmacy feels like an exercise in futility. Prescriptions are rarely ready when promised, and almost without fail there is some snag, delay, or excuse in the process along with systems that do not work. Pharmacy takes FOREVER to fill prescriptions. If you call and ask for an update they will act like you (a sick person or caregiver) is doing them a huge disservice by inquiring. It’s clearly painful for them to do their job…which is checks notes…customer service. Will be switching all our meds to a different pharmacy in the area.
We love our local Walgreens. But what makes it really special is Iannis. My daughter feels seen and cared for every time she shows up to get her meds. That is special coming from anywhere these days let alone a pharmacy!!
I have been coming to this pharmacy for a number of years and I will be the first to admit they sometimes have their problems but overall they are wonderful at what they do. Specially now since they have a new young supervisor he seems be on top of things I’ve seen them all busy as can be stressed out and never once have ever acted unprofessional in any manner.
