Drove through and got some delicious rooted chicken and the turnip greens were great! I'd skip the Mac and cheese next time- kinda bland. Banana pudding was a nice sweet treat.
Good family food and atmosphere! And the adults can have a beer with their meal if they like 👍
For the price it's worth it! I got the scratch salad with ranch dressing. My wife got the half Fried Chicken. The chicken was juicy not dry like a lot of places. The side are bigger than most places.
Service was great, the staff were polite and welcoming. The food was just plain, not good. The white beans were still too firm and the onions were basically raw. The mac n cheese was way overcooked. The noodles were mush and the noodles at the top had dried out and gone hard. It didn’t have much flavor either. The chicken wasn’t very good either. I like Waldo's, I wish they had better air conditioning and better carry-out bags/boxes so things don't get jumbled.
