Came in today for the SRS airbag recall on my odyssey. My appointment was at 10 am and we were there for 4.5 hours with no communication other than “maybe it’ll take 2.5 hours” when we first got there. I asked for updated ETAs twice and was never given one. It’s a shame this is the only Honda dealership in southern Maryland cause they can get away with this level of service. I hope the one in California gets finished soon because that was ridiculous. If I could give less stars I would.
Almost 3 hours for an oil change and tire rotation. I had called for an appointment, they said 2:15pm, i arrived at 2pm and told there was no appointment for me and get back with me. They never got back with me, so i thought its just an oil change and tire rotation, it should not take more than 2hrs…. Here i am about to hit 3 hours. I asked the advisor for an update. The first time I took my car in was for an oil change. But, they said my engine was leaking oil and they needed to disassemble the engine to replace a seal. They wanted $5000 for the repair. I took it to another Honda Dealership for a second opinion and they said they just needed to tighten some bolts and charged $1000. The second time I went to this dealership, I needed to repair a flat tire that had a nail in the center of the tread. They ended up replacing the whole tire!
I dropped my car off at Waldorf Honda for a diagnostic one evening because my car wouldn’t start. My car was dead. It was so bad a jump from another vehicle wouldn’t start my car. It only started if I charged the battery. I was told by a tech a day after dropping it off that apparently they tested my starter, battery and alternator and they all were fine. The tech at Honda told me that they didn’t find anything wrong with the car… but they can do a “tear down” for $450 to find the serial # & radio code to unlock my radio. Th... read more
