My son has seen many specialists over the years and Dr. Waldorf is one of the few that really stands out as an exceptional provider. First of all, shout out to Rick for reaching out to us quickly after the referral went out and even calling us when there were any upcoming cancelations so we would have the option to be seen sooner. I reach there after planning my time out, picking my son up from school & driving 30 minutes, only to learn that my appointment has been canceled! The front desk person tells me that all appointments for that afternoon for the doctor are canceled and apparently I was not notified. I had to make some effort to calm myself down as the staff was totally non-apolygetic. HORRIBLE customer service! The office staff is not friendly and the hours are not at all accommodating for people who work. They are only there Monday through Thursday from 9-4. Clearly they expect people who are employed to take sick days or vacation days for an eye appointment. I have never been to any type of doctor with such limited hours. It is really unfortunate because Dr Hamel is a friendly doctor but her staff do not share the same attitude and her hours have been significantly cut down.
