I think it's rediculous to fine stores that won't be open on Thanksgiving! I would imagine all of the corporate honchos who own the mall will be enjoying the holiday with their families! This is one place I won't be going to!

Dear mall administration: I'm not so sure you can legally fine your retail tenants for not opening on a federal holiday -- unless it's in their rental agreements, then shame on you for including that anyway -- without them claiming breach of contract. I've urged local attorneys to reach out to your renters to take legal action. I'd strongly urge you not do what published reports are claiming you'll do on Thanksgiving. Best of luck, now your move.
