i was diagnosed with an eating disorder this year and with honestly and care from myself and my providers, i started searching help. i was highly recommended walden for the “best care” to meet my needs. about 3 weeks ago i started my 8 week journey monday-friday 8-2:30 schedule putting my entire life on hold hoping for answers and support. well i was given absolutely nothing within my time frame attending this program. the staff are rude and do NOT care to understand that eating disorders come in different needs of support. ... read more
I just finished completing the virtual binge eating intensive outpatient program with Monte Nido and I am so grateful for it! The staff were extremely kind, friendly and knowledgeable. They were specifically trained in binge eating and if you trust the program and listen to what the therapists and dietitians recommend, it works!
Excellent staff. Kind, funny, mindful of others and open to suggestions and feedback! Other reviews trashing this place clearly have little psycho education on eating disorders and/or didn’t call their insurance companies first. A wonderful place that anyone struggling should reach out to.
The fact that this place is still running is deplorable and so many failures upon upper leadership and the state. Rebecca Bernet (the former Program director) and other higher ups covered up an adult patient pretending to be a child in their residential program. Rebecca claimed she had no idea the adult, now known as Shelby Hewitt was not a child. Hewitt was a patient several times as an adult at WBC, when Bernet and other staff worked there.
