I just finished completing the virtual binge eating intensive outpatient program with Monte Nido and I am so grateful for it! The staff were extremely kind, friendly and knowledgeable. They were specifically trained in binge eating and if you trust the program and listen to what the therapists and dietitians recommend, it works!
Excellent staff. Kind, funny, mindful of others and open to suggestions and feedback! Other reviews trashing this place clearly have little psycho education on eating disorders and/or didn’t call their insurance companies first. A wonderful place that anyone struggling should reach out to.
The fact that this place is still running is deplorable and so many failures upon upper leadership and the state. Rebecca Bernet (the former Program director) and other higher ups covered up an adult patient pretending to be a child in their residential program. Rebecca claimed she had no idea the adult, now known as Shelby Hewitt was not a child. Hewitt was a patient several times as an adult at WBC, when Bernet and other staff worked there. My son recently was enrolled in a program here because of being under weight. under the program my son participated in 11 video chats of about a half hour each that was shared with many other patients at the same time which is fine. the problem is if your insurance does not cover treatment from this place quit the program immediately because you will be charged outrageous fees. i received 2 bills totaling just over $3,900 dollars for them to watch my son eat a meal 11 times.
