Dr Mahamitra is an excellent doctor. It is obvious she cares about my health and I appreciate her thoughtfulness as to my welfare.
Dr. Mahamitra is a national treasure. She is incredibly caring and an excellent physician.
I absolutely do not recommend this doctor. Stay away. I booked my first appointment with her 5 months in advance. Her office called the week before to confirm, and I confirmed. They called the day before to confirm and I confirmed. I checked in online that morning as an E-Check In and filled out the forms. I arrive 10 minutes late (when every doctor has a 15 min grace period and makes you wait at least 30 min. for them anyway), as I said, I was 10 min late and was told by her incredibly rude front desk girl that she left for... read more
Rude and horrible. My insurance company assigned this doctor as my Primary Care Physician (per the image) so I reached out to see the doctor as I wasn't feeling well. The woman who answered the phone was incredibly rude and in fact, hung up on me. I let her know I was assigned to the doctor, but she kept repeating 'the doctor isn't taking new patients' without even listening to me, especially when I was assigned this doctor by my insurance company. I have never had a doctor's office hang up on me when asking for help.
I can't even begin to do justice to this amazing doctor. She is everything you would hope your physician would be, and the staff is always friendly and helpful.
