This place has to be one of the worst Wake Meds ever. Don’t come here if you have an actual emergency. You’ll be waiting 5 hours in the waiting area.

If I could give this place negative stars I would. Came in because my girlfriend tripped over the curb and gashed her eyebrow. She was bleeding and the bleeding wouldn’t stop when we checked in. They said well hurry and get you a room after three hours of sitting there while my girlfriend had to try to keep the blood From dripping onto the floor. Use to be good. Now. What a joke. I came in with infection/complications from surgery. Took 2 1/2 hours to get me back. Was immediately ignored. Not hooked up. No questions. Just Dr will be in and shut the door. With my medical issues.....this place is a lawsuit waiting to happen.

I was recently seen at this facility for a serious medical emergency. Every single person there was kind and compassionate. Clear communication, kept me comfortable while waiting for a room to open up.I was transported to WakeMed in Raleigh where they had a clear picture of what had been done and what needed to be done to continue my care. It was seamless. I received outstanding, thorough care from every single person I encountered.
