I went for an infected finger; service was excellent.
My daughter was evaluated at the Wake Med Wendell Falls ER recently. She received very good medical care but as a retired physician I was concerned about the delay she experienced in the waiting room. I fully understand that ER facilities can be overwhelmed with patients especially at this time of year. I live in a different city and my daughter who was less than 2 weeks postpartum called me mentioning that she had been experiencing moderately severe pleuritic chest pain for a number of hours. Zero stars you can tell them that your pain level is at a 20 and you’ll still have to go and get your own wheelchair. then they ask you if you’re a patient just for a cup of water after they tell you you have the flu
My husband has been here a couple of times. They are not as busy as the main one on new bern. So they can quickly diagnose a problem and if tbey need to transfer they are able to do so quickly.
