Waited forever and once finally seen, my lab results were all bad. I went in with serious symptoms. They come in and tell me I’m fine there’s nothing wrong with me. They tell me to my face I don’t have anything indicating any infections. My primary doctor looks at lab results, doesn’t like what she sees. I just finished a review for the inpatient part of my husband's stay and it was a 5 star. But I did want to jump in and say that the ER process here is very frustrating for patients. Being sent back out to the waiting room with an IV in your arm and then NO communication from anyone is very frustrating. I understand that the night we were there it was busy, however, just a little communication goes a LONG WAY when people are sick/hurting and waiting. It seems that the ER may be understaffed. Doctor needs to learn bedside manners. Don’t look so disgusted with your patients when they come to the hospital for what ended up being a false alarm
This is concerning the triage at wake med in Raleigh. The girl that did the ekg took my patches off then “”ripped”the one off that the emt had on me in the rescue. Tore a spot about the size of a penny of skin off. Just raw meat. Worse now 3 days later. As if that wasn’t enough the girl drawing my blood was absolutely terrible. Just like she was straight off the streets. She tried in my left arm, couldn’t find a vein. Had to leave the room. Left the needle with pink thing hanging out of my arm.
