Last year I was forced to find a new primary care physician/ practice after my office of many years closed. Finding someone in the area was key, so I googled primary care in Holly Springs. Fortunately I found Wake Med Primary Care and Stephanie Helfrich. The worst at communicating and helping patients who are trying to schedule an appointment at the new WakeMed Center on 401 in fuquay Varina there is no direct phone number for the primary care office and when you try to schedule an appointment doing it online is the only way when you make the phone call to another location they tell you that the scheduling is completely different than online and it's booked out they seriously need to fix this lack of communications for patients it's absolutely horrible the schedulers who are... read more

As far from healthcare as one can get. I was told on July 3rd they could refill my prescriptions, and I waited over an hour at CVS for them to be filled. They weren’t. After getting the run around on my medications for two weeks, having run out 10 days ago, I was told I’d have to visit to pick another primary care doctor. Oh and the next appointment isn’t until 21st of August, but at least my prescriptions could be refilled. Now I’m told they can’t refill them until I visit. I would have given 0 star if possible. I decided to change my primary care since my obgyn is wakemed. I have been offer for a test when I told physical about vaginal itchiness during my annual visit and asked to recommend the cream I can apply and she offer me for the test. They took a swap for test but never imagine, I will get huge bill for one bacterial test. I have not been informed that the test is so costly before the test. They cancelled my appointment with no notice. Staff was not very helpful. I won't be back and I don't recommend this office.
