I have no idea how people are rating this place with more than one star. There's no way my family's experience is unique. Every single appointment has had to be rescheduled. When you ask for an appointment time that won't have to be rescheduled, the lady on the phone tells you to find another doctor if you don't like it. They ask you get to their 15 mins ahead of time while not calling you to the nurse until 45 minutes'ish past your appointment time. Then you have to wait another 45 minutes'ish to see the doctor. We had a great experience with the pediatric gastro department. They had a "child specialist" for my daughter's procedure requiring anesthesia whose job was just to "be her friend." He talked with her, made her comfortable, brought her creative things to do, answered her questions, and kept her relaxed the whole time. His activities were tailored to her interests. She felt very special and thought the day was great even though she was very scared going in.

Dr. Bernal is incredibly thorough, knowledgeable, and had exceptional bedside manner in explaining everything to my daughter who was pretty nervous about her endoscopy procedure.

I had the best experience with Dr. Bernal. My son has been complaining of tummy aches and I found Dr. Bernal on Google. She was a breath of fresh air, her bedside manner was excellent, and she was warm and kind. She is SO good with kids and also knows her stuff. I didn't feel brushed off and felt like she actually cared about getting to the root of my child's tummy issues.
