If I could give ZERO,I would. This place ONLY cares about money. I had a procedure not long ago& needed a check up asap to make sure everything went smoothly. I called SO many places & they all weren’t taking new patients till April. I finally called here & they said Cara Cameron could see me today at 11am. As a first time mom, giving birth can be scary. Tara, our L&D nurse, made the (very long) experience safe, comfortable and encouraging. My husband and I both found her presence to be exactly what we needed, from informed consent about procedures to words of encouragement. She was everything I could have asked for and worked so well with our doula.
My experience here was really good! Dr. Cameron provided me with the advice and information I needed to make the best decision for myself. She and the entire staff were very nice and friendly!
I am writing this review in hopes of encouraging improvement in how WakeMed supports women, especially during early pregnancy concerns. On Friday, 12/12, when I was 7 weeks pregnant, I called the after-hours line due to cramping. I shared my symptoms with the intake staff and was told a doctor would call me back within 30 minutes. From the time I was trying to conceive, through my high-risk pregnancy, and even after, she has been an incredible source of comfort, care, and compassion.
