I'm rewriting my review to reply to the generic response they gave to my original one. This place would be a lot better if the nurses/doctors kept patients posted about the status of their tests, lab work, etc. After waiting for 3 hours after getting a CT scan, we had to flag a nurse down and ask what was happening. Not a single person came in the room the entire 3 hours to check in or let us know anything. As a nurse, it’s sad that I have to even write this. But I went a few days ago and my experience was definitely subpar. It’s sad that nurses are so enthralled with the title of being a nurse, along with the stigma of Stanley/Owala cups and a status. Nursing needs empathy and compassion, and that’s not what was displayed when I was there. I was placed in the hallway, cold hallway, on a gurney and left there until I spoke up for myself. I was seen here for a kidney stone and received careful, fast care. Everyone is so kind and competent. The place is clean and welcoming. My nurse, AC was so attentive and kind. My attending Dr. Patel and his PA were also incredibly patient with me, respected my wishes and tried their best to get me out of pain as quickly as possible. I had a 6mm kidney stone and was in the worst pain imaginable, but because I felt so cared for, I was able to get through it. Thank you so much to everyone who works here!
