Every doctor / nurse / triage here is amazing! My massive issue with this ER is the parking. I’ve been multiple times where I’m sprinting from a far away deck and taking some outdoor back way to get to the ER. I’ve only had one time I came that I felt like seconds mattered (bad peanut allergic reaction in a baby) and thankfully found a spot. Some of the staff is friendly but my overall experience at this pediatric ER has been negative every time. I haven’t felt like my concerns were taken seriously any of the times I’ve brought my kids here. I felt judged more than I felt cared for. I would recommend going somewhere different if you’re able.
Terrible service, unprofessional staff, NOT RECOMMENDED for children under 2 years old!!! If your child is not on the verge of death you will not be accepted normally (per words of their doctor). I'm really disapointed that there is such type of children's emergency like WakeMed. This was my last time at this "emergency"!!!!
Awesome staff in the whole children's department. My 2 youngest children have sickle cell and we go here sometimes for pain management and they are a great team. We have not had any issues at all everyone is so kind and helpful.
It’s so crowded and there’s people wait so many hours to get treated.
