The receptionist, nurses, and doctors are so amazing and kind. The wait was super short they got us back as soon as I was done checking in. My little one was not feeling well and the nurses were so kind and supportive. I can’t thank the team at Wake Med ED enough. Such a kind hearted and patient team! Great experience. Had a syncope episode and my PCP recommended going to the ER to get checked out. They got me into a room within 5 minutes of arrival and was seen by the doctor within 30 minutes. Had to get fluids and some tests but was outta there in about 3.5 hours. As someone with autoimmune issues this is a M A J O R win. Shout out to all of the staff including the front desk who got me into a wheelchair and was extremely kind. If you have an emergency I highly recommend this location.
This hospital is a shame and pitiful. The workers whatever they are at the front desk sit and talk about people with the guard who puts people out for doing nothing wrong. No bed side manners. The nurses don't know how to properly do an i.v. They don't even try to figure out what's wrong with you, they just tell you some b.s. to get you out of the hospital quick while you're being charged a arm and a leg for checking in.
