They could be better but I would rather go here than central Carolina
WakeMed Apex Healthplex Emergency Department was absolutely wonderful when we had to bring our child in. The staff was kind, attentive, and genuinely caring especially the PA Art B.!!! The medical team was professional and very knowledgeable, and they took time to explain what they were doing, answer questions, and offer choices so we felt confident in the care plan. Horrible emergency department, never go there if you are in pain. My kid was suffering for over 3 hours waiting in the lobby for a doctor to attend and we gave up going to another er. The people here don’t even have the minimal courtesy of notifying us if they are busy or if we have to go for another place that might not be busy. The er seems to be very vacant with we being the only family in the lobby for over an hour and we were joined by another family with a new born baby. Never ever go here.
