We went into the Family Medicine Day Clinic for their open hours and were in and out quickly. It's a great way if you have any concerns to get into see a doctor quickly and get a prescription, while not bothing others' doctors' scheduled appointments. The staff were very nice and the doctor was quick to help diagnose the problem and send in a prescription for us both. If there is something that can wait and you can plan a quick trip in, this definitly worked for us.
The staff is great and always professional. The wait is usually not too long. It is nice to have some ancillary services available on site. My only complaint is that it has taken almost 2 weeks to get one of my test results.
My husband was seen Monday at the urgent care. She diagnosed him with a pulled muscle, sent him home with naproxen and lanaflex which did nothing for pain. I took him back on Tuesday and the resident was great. The problem is x-rays were done on Tuesday and we called EVERYDAY FOR RESULTS. Knowing the pain he was in I’m upset that no one put stat or anything to get this read! We received no call and Tony Heath has been on his back since Friday with severe pain which is stated in notes.
