I waited for 40 minutes past my booking time. This is a regular occurrence
As a new patient and someone nervous of having bloods taken I had an excellent experience with the nurse. She was very gentle and quick taking bloods and the same giving vaccinations. Will have no hesitation going back when required.
I have been seeing Waitara Family Medical Centre for several years. The service is outstanding!! The reception, nurse and doctors are very polite, helpful and friendly! Even we have moved out of this area, we still travel there to see the wonderful people!!
Avoid this place at all costs. The nurse is not capable in relation to blood tests and very dismissive of patient concerns . We have seen a few Doctors here and they offer vague and impersonal care. One of my children went in for a blood test and the nurse perforated the back of her vein causing significant bruising and injury . When we returned the receptionist rolled her eyes when I told her what had happened . The nurse then came out and blamed my child based on incorrect information.
