Wonderful experience, the guide was very knowledgeable about the history of this area of Hawaii, and about the currently operating farm on the property. The horses were well behaved and they catered to our level of riding experience.
We had a fun horse back ride on the property amoung all the fruit trees on the side of the hill overlooking the ocean view in the distance. But this was not down in Waipio valley like I expected it to be, which was disappointing. I'm hoping it will be back down in Waipio Valley again soon.

What an Aloha experience! Even though the valley has been closed off for now, the experience you will feel is true Aloha - warm greeting by staff and cats! Guide took the time to assess everyone's ability and matched horses to same. Knowledge of trees, plants and animals on the ride were great! Being able to catch wild horses and one cooling off in a pond with a baby waiting on the edge was a treat! To have parting gifts of tastes local fruit with some to take with us was true Aloha - mahalo!!
We had the best ride with Micah! We don’t prefer overly-commercialized tours and chose this one because of that, but still didn’t know what to expect going in. Upon arrival we discover we were the only ones on the tour, so we knew we were I for a treat! The property you ride on is mainly a working ranch that grows all sorts of unique tropical fruits, which they let you taste from beginning to end.
