Overpriced compared to many botanical gardens all around the world. Not very well maintained. Disappointing.
We were in a group of 6 that booked the Kipahele Tour, riding on a covered oversized golf cart. Our driver/guide's name is George. His tour around the Valley and to the waterfall is outstanding! George is a Hawaiian history buff, all about the area. His tour around the Valley is about an hour long. He tells the Hawaiian story as we meandered through the various spots. The hike is very easy, paved for the most part. There plenty of side trails to go into and see fauna and flora which can extend how long the hike takes you. The waterfall was gorgeous, they did have provided life vests at the waterfall so you can dip in if you’d like.
