We rented two of the cabins and the Lodge for our family reunion in beautiful Story. It was a wonderful place to stay both for the accommodations and the setting along the river. The management was so attentive and kind. Would highly recommend!
we just had a small wedding here this past weekend and I am horrified over the disrespect the bride received from them. It started from the first encounter. We had a scheduled meeting with Taylor to discuss wedding details we drove from out of town . when we entered we were greeted as if we had shown up for a job interview and we're told Taylor had to go pick someone up from the airport and they would call us back to reschedule our interview. We went to dinner for our 45th anniversary. We were so disappointed. The service was lacking and the dinner was even worse. My husband had what they called a shrimp boil that only had the shrimp and some bread. My salad was lacking the dressing on the lettuce. There was no prime rib so I had the chicken that was over cooked. I had to ask for the dip for the chicken. The server opened the wine before it was at the table. What has happened to good places to eat. So sad and disappointing. Not recommending this place.
