DO NOT SUPPORT THIS COMPANY. Get insurance when your dog is healthy so it's there when you need it and its cheaper in the long run. Wrong. Not with this company. They just changed underwriters and are offering us half the coverage and more copay for double the price... now our pet has pre-existing conditions and quite a bit older. Like the others say, stay away from this company if you can. The first year (2025) I was lured in with a great plan with 100% coverage and low premium to lure you in. There were some oddities, like the company names being inconsistent from place to place, and their UI was buggy and didn't work as expected despite it looking modern. Extremely disappointed in Waymo and the loop holes they use to not pay reimbursements out. They wouldn’t pay for my dogs fecal test since the vet visit is wasn’t classified as “wellness visit”. Our vet doesn’t classify wellness visits due to higher cost when classified as wellness vs routine. Wagmo wouldn’t budge and refused to pay. Disappointed and would not recommend and will not renew services.
If you are not trying to get insurance for a puppy skip Wagmo. i threw away money for an entire year with this. Insurance, and I can't do anything about it. Because I got it through my employer. They send you letters like typical monolithic corporate companies. They cover nothing. They claim that me taking care of my dog look like my dog has a problem. I've been a member for 5 years, and recently Wagmo changed underwriters, my plan jumped from 1600 to 2200, with 10k less in coverage, and from 100 to 70 % covered. Sadly unable to switch to a different provider as my pets underlying conditions which will not be covered. Shame on Wagmo. Avoid this company, there are better options out there. @ChristieHorvath should be ashamed.
